Displaying over 50,000 artifacts from San Joaquin County's past, San Joaquin County Historical Museum is expansive and impressive. Featuring a restored, turn-of-the-20th-century home, a working harness shop, complete with several hundred tools, a blacksmith shop and numerous displays of antique agricultural equipment, the museum also offers access to the restored 1850s adobe home and gardens of the city of Stockton's founder. Offering numerous living history events each year, the museum is located just outside the city of Lodi in Micke Grove Regional Park.
